internal usb c headers are only present on the x570.
Wait, there are people out there NOT updating drivers after Windows installation? What do you guys think you're using? Linux? Pfff... xD
that guys's laugh lmao
jay, you are a real piece of shit for sticking him with a 2080ti, and ryzen 3800 XT when you have tons of new hardware and around and 3 mill subs when this video would easily pay for it.
Was that a Mighty Jingles burn I heard? lol
The advantage to building my own PC is that I get exactly what I want.I bought my old PC prebuilt and I was happy with everything except the PC case,I didn't realize how much I hate small and midtower PC cases until I tried to do my own upgrades on the midtower PC case that my prebuilt PC came in.I had to buy a graphics card because the prebuilt PC that I bought only had onboard graphics. It's not as easy as most people may think it is to build a PC but if you have tools and lots of patience you can build your own PC.
Want to uprgrade but all new GPUs are out of stock? Oh look, just grab a 2080Ti of your shelf. Easy.
YESSSS CoconutMonkey! *continues watching video*
I didnt know amd had a power settings in windows thanks!
Believe me, YOUR minimum specs are not MY minimum specs.
Hey Jay, can you give me a 5700XT? 😁
fyi, if you have a 5000 series amd processor, you won't have ryzen power plans.
I love Lenovo as a brand and pretty happy with my current Ryzen 7 Ideapad, but if I hadn’t been in a pinch to quickly replace my failing 5 year old Thinkpad when I got it I’d have waited and saved a little more money to get a Legion instead for sure. Still might.
Playing older games at max settings is honestly a much better experience than modern games. Older games are in many cases better too, before games got destroyed by marketing teams.
Pro tip: You don't need to imitate a disabled / person with a lisp to show a stupid opinion. The stupid Intel opinion speaks for itself, inflection aside.
Dude you have like so many 3080s and 3090s your a pig. this is why most the public cant get because of all the fucking you tube tech reviews get not one card but like fucking 4 to one person. understand hes a review but its highly unfair.
I would just take out all the components and light that case on fire it's a lost cause
I never new the chip set driver install. Thanks man
i "upgraded" recently from a red devil 5700xt to an EVGA 1080ti ftw3. MY GAMES DONT CRASH ANYMORE.. YAAAAYY
Well, even a budget laptop is faster than my PC....😭
"Every thing I touch is sticky" -Jay 2020
A camera picked up dust in the air holy shit thats the future
Iam upgrading my pc with a I9 10gen and a 3080 tuf. And i just noticte i need a better panel.
Stop the vape shit talk. I've vaped around my computer for 5 years and its not sticky....and smells great.
YOU GUYS SHOULD BUILD A PC IN A FRIDGE OF FREEZER
It may not be a 2080ti killer but it sure as hell should kill any reason to buy a 2080ti.
Did this card get delayed? Why is jay the only one to have gotten this card?
Someone has been watching The Mighty Jingles XD
Screw you for keeping these narratives up: social distancing. You are sheeps.
I recently upgraded from an Asus p6t mb Core I7 920 12 gig ddr 3 to an Asus Z390-A mb I9 9900KF proc and 32 gig ddr4. I also went from win 7 to win 10 reluctantly because I was to lazy to learn linux as I wanted when I saw what where windoez was headed. I hadn't bench marked anything since the original build on the I7 920 which I managed to get a stable 4.38ghz over clock that could run full time if I wanted. The system lasted near 10 years and only recently showed its age when the cpu over heated due to a clogged water block from its OG build. Anyways I went from playing all my favorite games on medium and mixed low gfx settings to full on maxed out in everything @ 1920x 1080 on all of them with the upgrade so Im super stoked even if its not top of the line screamer build. Oh yeah the vid card is a radeon r9 290x I upgraded to a few years back when the original ATI 5770 could no longer keep up with what I wanted to play.
"Gaming without a graphics card" AMD users: *its showtime*
A console killer yes a price killer nooo two times the price for 1 times the power
Literally only kept the power supply case and memory. Still technically an upgrade but could have literally just built a new computer.
first thing that came to my mind after "bring Nick to the 2020s" was NOOOOOOO let him stay in the past 2020 sucks 🤣
im not gonna use a cloudlifter, will it work
I think upgrading every 5 years should be okay, if one is not a professional gamer.
How is this an upgrade? New motherboard, new cpu, new vid card. Effectivly a new system. Just recycling the hard drive, power, case, and ram.
I'm building my first PC myself soon and your vids have been super helpful! I love your channel so much.
Please cover upgrade ability in your reviews, extra ssd slots, RAM accessibility. What about bloat ware?
its eartrumpet but physical lmao
1:52 You sure bout that?.
So, are they not grounded ? Why ??
Watching the video Realizing that I changed my MB a couple of days ago and haven't installed the chipset drivers download driver realize that I am on Linux right now... Have to do it later when I'm in Windows though
I bought the x570 and thought i bought a gen 4 m.2 it was gen 3 oh well
Can you do something different and once in a while do a "green" build i.e. focus on how to build a well performing PC which draws small amount of power? I think most of us are concerned about climate change nowadays, would be nice to see focusing on power efficiency.
I recently returned an HP computer because when it arrived, the people who built it used the top vent for the liquid-cooler fan which cover 90% of that air vent. The only other vent was on the bottom of the case. There were no air vents in the front of the case and it only had a tiny 90mm fan on the back of the case. They had literally cut the air intake in half. The only place I could have installed an intake fan would have been on the bottom vent and I would have had to drill the holes into the case to do it.
Ah so you master the art of clickbaiting bruh
@JayzTwoCents I'm having a bit of an issue with my computer. I've recently rebuilt it. Went from an i7-4770k to an i7-10700k. Obviously new motherboard, and RAM. Asus Prime Z490M-Plus mATX, and corsair vengeance DDR4 RAM. I also now have a Silicon Power M.2 SSD. Here's the issue, the computer's BIOS recognizes the drive, and it will boot into windows. However, from a complete shutdown, and reboot, the system will not boot directly into windows. It will only boot into the BIOS safe mode, and the only way it will boot is by manually selecting the drive, each time from the BIOS. I've changed all the drive parameters to legacy and UEFI, as you've done, set the boot priority to boot from the M.2 SSD. But nothing is working. When I put the M.2 Drive into my Wifes computer, it boots just fine into windows, like nothing is wrong. Plug it into my computer, and all hell breaks loose Side note, my wife's computer is my old computer. i7 4770k, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition motherboard, and G.Skill Sniper DDR 3 memory. I took the OS and mirrored it to the new SSD (Silicon Power M.2 SSD). Could that possibly be causing the issue? Which is weird, because I've mirrored drives before and not had this issue. Both systems have a GTX 1080's I know this is a long comment, and a lot to read. If you see this comment, any help from either you or the community would be much much appreciated. I'm ripping my hair out at this point, and swallowing my pride, asking for help.
Nah didn't learn a thing this time. As a matter of fact there's obviously a few more steps to take but that's a good enuff bare bones approach. I watched til the end for your candid goofiness/sense of humor you sometimes display. Don't take me wrong, you do give lots of honest and useful advice and there's plenty of other very qualified tech HRwikirs with reviews of the latest hardware, etc. but you put a different spin on it sometimes and the lightheartedness is a welcome change. Keep it up and stay safe down there guys. Looking forward to the 30 tech days til christmas
I like avast. I’ve been using it for almost 8 years now.
I still use a 1070ti, great card. One thing is for sure, when I upgrade, I'm going big chungus mode, at least 3080 (and the entire rig of course)
Jay, you can't let Steve go away with that.
Why are so many HRwiki adds in your video, its really shit
I think you are wrong about Avast. It has successfully blocked every attack that has come against my computer. I have lived in China for the last 8 years as an ex-pat. Sometimes you overstate things and are too strong. AVAST is not junk. I love your channel anyway, but sometimes... What do you think is better?
I had an extra option in my power settings that ive never seen on other computers. It's called "ultimate Performance" mode..
I wish you showed benchmark numbers before chipset driver install and then the same after install
5:42 omfg look at that graphics card sag... thats sagging worse than gramma's tits!!!
you tested it with forza and doom wich are the most optimized games for pc lol try other games my y540 with an rtx 2060 gets 180 fps on doom also lol
He reluctantly said "yes" for free money and sponsorship. Lol. Im sure you jumped into that saying yes instantly.
So NZXT has 30 series builds ready to order...... very interesting.
Kinda getting tired of all the fart sounds in you videos...
4:19 what the impression !! 😂😂😂
How do you know if you have downloaded the chipset drivers (or all the motherboard drivers necessary)??? Asking for a friend, thanks.
any 2020 update? and what about the cheapest 8th gen motherboards like H310M, are they a good choice for the cheap (right now) i5-9400F ?
whats the name of the small fan you use? :o i want one to clean out my computer
My bud still plays on a fx it's great
The gas lifts in office chairs are also known for causing electrostatic discharge. Some people see their USB devices or monitor disconnect each time they stand up from a chair with a gas lift mechanism.
Damn I need Jay to love on my cpu too. Still running a xeon e5-1650 for gaming.. I use the term running.. Very loosely
If there’s anything that this year has taught me.... it’s don’t buy Lenovo if you ever need ANY support or consistency
Nick EWW Clean lol I was laughing my ass off lol
Great video! What kind of mouse and keyboard is that?
I had no idea about chipset drivers. How to I check mine/where do I go to get the updated chipset drivers for my system?
